Overall a good starter experience with Atom Bank. Applied for a 1yr fixed savers account and although I had a few issues with the app at first, it worked fine the next day once the initial rush had died down. The rate was not great (as is to be expected given the state of the economy) but was still the best I could find, so full marks there. Where they do lose a star however is for their security. They insist that you set up three different types of login, two of which in my opinion are pretty insecure. The fact that these methods HAVE to be setup means that even if I don't use them myself, they are there for potential fraudsters to exploit. Very disappointing for such a new, tech based bank.
I have just opened a three year bond, no problems this bank came up with best interest rates recommended by Martin Lewis on his showed, government backed so this was the one for me.

Darn tootin! for an added thrill, try and get the American cashier. Other than that this bank is standard in every way.
A small-sized Halifax with all of the amenities expected from a bank of that size. With an automated cash and cheque machine it is perfect for quick deposits.

I have been to the Surgery several times, and I must be honest about the really really great job they do, (and I hate going to the dentists)..not so any more. The receptionist was absolutely brilliant, and the actual dental work was of a high professional standard with very reasonable cost(s).What more can I say, but thanks a million!
I have used this dental surgery for several years and always found the care to be excellent. The dentists and staff are friendly and conscientious.

Can not thank the nurses on ward 16 enough for their patience and understanding when mam has been on their ward for the past 4 days. I am a long way from home and her only daughter, and they were so polite and helpful in bringing mam to the phone and keeping me updated. Never made me feel I was being a bother and understood my concern. Thank you so much.
MY 86 y.o father was sent to A/E by local surgery NP via urgent ambulance. My father had moderate ( pain score 6/7) abdominal pain and vomiting for 6 hours since he woke at 08.30 and hadn't had anything to drink or eat for 16 hrs by the time he attended A/E. This was during a period of very hot weather. He has type 2 diabetes, irregular heart beat (on blood thinners) and is disabled following a fractured hip last November. He was triaged very quickly. They did his BP, temperature and pulse and took blood samples and asked a few questions, but didn't assess his pain score. Paramedics had given him 2 paracetamol but he'd vomited immediately afterwards. We then waited for 2 hrs in the waiting area. When he was eventually seen he was put in a paediatric room which was round a corner from the main part , so not in sight of the nurses "station" .Presumably this was because they were short of rooms. The Doctor saw my father and one of the first things he asked was whether he had a drip in, which he didn't. He was then quite quickly sent for an X Ray and whilst he was away a nurse came to put a drip in. He was then given some I.V paracetamol and I.V fluids to rehydrate him. The nursing and medical staff were generally friendly and efficient but as he's 86 , it could realistically have been something serious (eg intestinal obstruction or ischaemic bowel due to his irregular heart beat) and he was in considerable pain and vomiting, he should have had a drip put in, his pain score assessed ,pain relief given and an X Ray more quickly. My father waited the same length of time to be seen as other people who were much younger and not in obvious pain or distress or vomiting eg a gentleman in his 50's with a badly sprained ankle! I'd also mention that the hand sanitiser dispenser in the paediatric room my father was in was empty and , although a senior member of nursing staff tried to use it and realised it was empty, nobody refilled it during the 4-5 hours we spent in the room. The trust closed the A/E department at Bishop Auckland but failed to make adequate provision for emergency care at the other 2 hospitals eg Durham and Darlington beforehand.

I was greeted very warmly on my first visit to Emmanuel Church and found it very friendly. The best way to feel part of this Church is to join a small group and get to know a few people really well. I love being a part of this Church and will certainly try to reach out to befriend others and particularly newcomers.
Don't like "reviewing" churches because we're not called to "critique" but to "commit," but definitely faithful, fruitful, friendly and a place that's very real and relevant. Especially the Chester-le-Street group.

Date of Project: January to November 2008 Value: £2.2million Works included: Groundworks, Foundations, Concrete Slab, Steel Frame Building, Surfacing, Drainage Work completed safely, without accidents, on budget, on time, The construction of the new Dunes Adventure Island Leisure facility at Sea Road South Shields, was a challenging build project, as the existing Dunes Bowl and Dunes Amusements remained open to the public throughout the 48 week development. MGL Group Project Manager Don Williams coordinated the build and managed to re configure the car park to accommodate the new building and create extra parking spaces. Great communication on all levels delivered a first class job, on time and on budget.

47 North Bailey, Durham DH1 3ET, UK – 0191 384 6777
Large portions of great tasting food at a reasonable price. This is the second time we had visited and we were glad it was still open. It appears to have two more outlets in Durham now, which is good news. Had the 'Lebeneat' mixed grill, a personal challenge as it was huge. The wife had a baby boneless chicken, which she was very happy with. Service was great, and although we went at an unusual time (1430), it was still populated. Well done all!
Loved it. Fantastic for a lunch or evening meal. Great menu great service and great prices. I have recommended this place to others who also enjoyed there visit. Highly recommend it and if in Durham i would definately eat there again.

My daughter has attended this school for 5 years and I have been very impressed by the level of care shown to all girls in the school. The staff will go over and above the average to help girls in need either with school work or over personal issues. There is a warmth and security in the school environment in which girls thrive and can develop their own personalities without fear of ridicule. Many opportunities are open to the girls including foreign trips, Duke of Edinburgh, Charitable work, sport, cooking, debating etc. There exists a range of bursaries so girls from all different economic backgrounds can attend. I rate this school very highly.
