1 Millennium Place, Durham DH1 1WA, UK – 0300 026 6600
Fresh, modern offering to see your films and local theatre. The cinemas (2) are small and cosy and offer good seating and viewing. The people who work here are more than helpful, going the extra mile to help you have a great evening (or other time). Lifts to all floor levels, clean loos, great coffee lounge to sit, wait or whatever. You don't even have to buy a drink! If cheese scones are your thing, they are good.
Cinema - A single room, small in size but comfortable and offers a good viewing experience. Major downside is that there are not many new films that get shown here, and if there are, there is only 1 on at any time. If you want to see new releases then other cinemas are a better choice. Theater - Been many times to watch stand up comedians and it's always a comfortable and.pleasent experience. Lots of good comics come here to practise their material so keep a look out on their website if you enjoy that sort of stuff.
College of Saint Hild and Saint Bede, Durham DH1 1SZ, UK
Despite the projector cutting out halfway through the movie this is a great cinema with very reasonable prices. Pick and mix is also a good addition.
Good films for little money

Cozy venue with regular performances from local student groups. Not much leg room while seated.
Cozy place with good student perfomances, but the seats are really uncomfortable
